Tomorrow is a national strike day in France, but fortunately the bakeries don’t strike, so we can nip down to Ambazac and get some cakes to help us get through the day.

Summer flowers
Now that autumn is arriving, a lot of the flowers have gone, I found an album sent by some guests who took these amazing photos of the plants and flowers in our garden. Im amazed at the variety and colour.

Heated pool is superb
The heated pool is coming in useful now. The evening temperatures drop now but we are keeping the pool heating on and managing to keep the water temperature up to 28 degrees. Hopefully we can keep the pool up and running until November.
